Keira Amor Jenkins

Hi! My name is Keira, I am a 15 year old young woman who was born and raised in Kinston, NC. I am currently a sophomore in high school and I attend classical conversations. Which is a homeschool curriculum that involves out of the box thinking, creative activities, and gives me the freedom to travel, attend camps, volunteer in the local community, and to grow more in my athletic abilities.

Some of my favorite things

I enjoy dancing, hanging out with my friends and family, marine biology camps, church camps, trying food from different cultures, Jesus, the ocean, the mountains, spending every sunday morning at church, ice skating, karaoke, cruises, disney, babysitting, making new friends, etc.

Where It All Began....

The pageant started as a fundraiser for The Hugo Volunteer Fire Department. The girls entered in the pageant, sold ads for the program, they were sponsored and even sold tickets to the event. The pageant was originally started to use the money raised to purchase supplies for the local fire department.

Fast forward several years and it turned into a scholarship program for the girls entered. Now we sell ads for the programs, have a sponsor for the event, sell tickets for seats in our section and dedicate immense time and effort into the event.

The scholarship pageant is a showcase in Interview skills, Creative Expression, Talent and Gown.

Interview

Display a unique talent of yours that expresses beauty, art, and hard work.
